Improve your Writing with Tweets

Twitter Forces you to improve your writing
Did you ever think that your writing might be improved by posting tweets?  It’s hard to believe, but it’s actually true.

Make the most of your Space
Within the confines of tweeting, Twitter limits your postings to 140 characters.  That is not a lot of room to get any point across, especially when every punctuation mark also counts as an individual character.  If you also throw in links your space in even smaller.  Your writing needs to be short, concise, and to the point in order to make the most of that space.

Be Creative and Expand your Vocabulary
These limitations can really force you to take a look at your writing and edit it in a way that makes the message engaging and thought provoking.  Those are pretty strong words for such a short message, but you also need to remember that you are competing for the attention of all the readers out there on Twitter.  You message needs to get and keep the reader’s attention and hold it so that they might also check out any attachments and other posts you have written.

Capture the Readers Attention
At the end of the day you might come away with an additional follower, which is the end result that bloggers hope to achieve.  That is gives the blogger the message that their writing is appreciated.

Regards,
Mark
